NoFap is a cult that started out as a joke, now supported by an oddball group of slaves to the needs of female pussy, which range from feminists, ultra-religious Conservatives, and Female Sexualists (who somehow envision themselves as more intelligent than the ‘stupid’ feminists who have managed to turn civilization completely upside down in the space of several decades). Of course, the position of Male Sexualists is clear – while we are not arguing that porn is better than sex (although it is better than sex with most modern women), we are against the persecution of men for private sexual thoughts – which is what viewing (unlike sharing) pornography is. We are against NoFap because it justifies the persecution of men for their normal sexuality and above all their natural attraction to female youth.
Thirsty zombies completely taken over by the replicators in their strings of DNA (and by the naturalistic fallacy) can start their own Female Sexualist movement.
Needless to say, NoFap is built entirely upon junk science, much of it from the feminist pop psychologist Gary Wilson, a hero of Evind Berge and a regular writer at the infamous GoodMenProject. I get asked about the NoFap movement often, as you might imagine. NoFap (that name is now trademarked) is an online group of men who promote abstinence from masturbation to porn. Reportedly, the group initially started as a joke, and a challenge to not masturbate. They have become a vocal, committed, and zealous group, whose strident cries and hyperbolic language get quite a bit of media attention. I’m not in opposition to them, but I do think their ideas are simplistic, and naïve, and promote a sad, reductionist, and distorted view of male sexuality and masculinity.
There’s nothing new about most of what they are saying. In the 18th century, a Swiss physician named Tissot promoted the idea that masturbation was a medical illness, which weakened the male spirit and created immorality and ill health. American physicians carried this idea for a long time, including Benjamin Rush, who believed that masturbation created blindness, and W.K. Kellogg, who invented corn flakes as part of an anti-masturbation campaign. The anecdotal problems these physicians were seeing were the untreated effects of STDs such as syphilis and gonorrhea. The past century of advances in sexual medicine tells us that masturbation is very healthy — people who masturbate more, on average, have healthier relationships, live longer, know more about their own bodies, and have better sex lives.
Some Further Brief Thoughts On Eivind Berge’s NoFappism
Eivind Berge seemed to go a little crazy immediately after our Twitter fights with the ‘Lovely Looking Sheila’ FEMRA Hannah Wallen. He started embracing (real) paedophiles as allies, proclaimed a virteous feminist paedophile reader – Gally – as leader of ‘his’ movement (who was allowed to post an article on Eivind’s blog starting with the words – ‘I am woman, hear me roar’ (or something like that)). When this guy turned on Eivind, as I warned him he would, he then proclaimed Tom Grauer as our new leader, who it’s true, was certainly going to get us a lot of attention with his antics…if he had stuck around for more than two weeks.
Eivind’s quite recent obsession with the feminist NoFap cult seems to follow this same trend. The abuse he was subjected to on Twitter by supposed MRAs, and then his ban from Twitter, seems to have left him with a conviction to turn away completely from Men’s Rights, and he’s been looking for a new movement to ‘adopt’ since then. Although NoFappers would reject Eivind and Male Sexualism even more than the MRAs did, it hasn’t stopped Eivind, in a recent comment on his blog, from audaciously claiming that the size and ‘success’ of the NoFap movement proves that his 15 years of blogging and accumulated 5 readers hasn’t been in vain after all. Eivind Berge is the head of the NoFap movement. NoFap equals Male Sexualism. It’s just that not a single NoFapper knows this yet. Or cares.
No Eivind. There was one movement that you could have claimed to have invented. And if you had at the time, you’d probably be one of the most famous people in the world right now. That’s the Incel movement. The problem is, you could never identify with the Incel movement, because it’s too ‘misogynistic’. It’s not that women are denying men sex (for you). It’s that a small cabel of ‘stupid’ feminists are stopping men from having sex. How they managed to do this is an open question. It’s not even a question that appears to interest Eivind. Among the countless articles on the female sex offender charade, and more recently NoFap, there are countless philosophical articles on his blog exploring the nature of the self and other weighty issues. But on the subject of why and how feminists have managed to create a world in which what is normal male sexuality is now the ultimate in evil perversion, and ever more criminalized, Eivind doesn’t appear to have the slightest interest.
One final thought on Eivind’s NoFappism. Is it the result of paedocrisy? Is it simply a case of Eivind saying (or rather screaming) – ‘I don’t look at porn. I hate porn. Porn is evil. Look at the Anti-Feminist. He likes porn. He’s sick. He’d rather wank to pics of Russian teen ice skaters than have sex with a 30 year old woman. Look at him. LOOK AT HIM NOT ME!!!’.
Well, no, I don’t think that’s the case. I really do think Eivind doesn’t look at porn, and really is an anti-porn zealot who believes in the NoFap cult. For that matter, I rarely look at porn and certainly I never look at porn which might even be vaguely illegal. I’m just feeling less horny as I get older. I only masturbate once a week or so these days, and even then I usually don’t look at porn to do it. For me the only correlation between looking at porn, masturbation, and seeking sex (chasing females) has been a steady decline in all three as my testosterone levels reduce with age. 20 years ago I used to fap every day. I also used to chase women every day.
However, it is true I think that Eivind’s NoFap position will attract paedocrites (if it does succeed in attracting anybody). Probably hardcore paedocrites who are even more strident and puritanical than Eivind when it comes to porn, simply to cover the fact that they are looking at illegal porn. Just as other GoodMenProject authors such as David Futrelle denounce us as ‘child porn apologists’ for calling out the absurdity of allowing the State to crash through your door for browsing teen bikini pics online, while he himself has actually defended (and clearly has an interest in) a despicable movie from the 1970’s produced by a ‘convicted paedophile’, featuring 14 year old ‘actors’ being tortured and being forced to eat their abuser’s shit, and who one of the leading boy ‘actors’ committed suicide shortly after.
A more likely explanation, aside from the one covered above (that Eivind is desperately seeking an alternative movement to the MRM to ‘adopt’), is that Eivind has developed a hatred of porn because of the fact that feminists are ever more criminalizing it. Feminists have succeeded in alienating Eivind from porn, or from images of attractive females. So Eivind develops a genuine hatred for porn (not simply a paedocrite ‘doublethink’ attitude towards porn), and makes having actual sex with young women the absolute and only goal – something that is becoming equally criminalized and as dangerous for men these days, but which deep down Eivind knows is getting completely out of reach anyway due to age and other reasons (whereas the temptation to look at porn, and potentially criminalize yourself, is always just a mouse click or two away).
