As they can’t do that, they will focus more on the ‘harm’ such an AI actress has on the film going public, or on culture in general. In this case, even that is going to be hard to pull off, so they will be left with only the more honest approach of directly complaining about her potential to put real women out of work.
Feminists always have this three lines of defence approach to their interests, in particular their sexual interests, when attractive females are threatening their ability to compete, or are undercutting the ‘price’ they can offer to men. This can be likened to the three lines of defence of a castle. First, there is the moat – it sets a boundary that is difficult to cross. It is an ‘exclusion zone’. Secondly, there are the defenders of the castle, who throw down boiling water, rocks, shoot arrows, and hurl threats at the invaders. Thirdly, there is the keep, the last stronghold and residence of the lord, noble, king, or indeed the queen, where she herself has to finally show that she is fighting – or pleading – for her survival.
The First Line of Defence – The Moat
If they can, feminists first try to present the more attractive female as being exploited/abused by men. A boundary is set, such as the age of consent, in order to ‘protect’ the female. She is also defined as radically different in kind – i.e. a child, or ‘digital’ (in the case of an AI girlfriend), or ‘trafficked’ (feminists used to simply say ‘whore’ or ‘fallen woman’).
This is all done to create a barrier that separates the male from his female target, that cannot be crossed or which at least presents a huge and dangerous hurdle in attempting to do so.

If the first line of defence falls, or isn’t secure, feminists invariably turn to the claim that men too are being harmed in some way by crossing the moat and taking pleasure in the attractive female. In either case, they are now directly admitting that they are fighting for their own survival. They have to be honest and plead that they are concerned about being undercut or replaced in the sexual marketplace.
