TBF, that subreddit is associated with the passport bro movement. It shows how bad things have become if we’re grasping at the odd tolerant comment about 25 year old men dating 21 year old women in a passport bro community.
I mean, it’s worth posting because he makes some valid points and such, but I wouldn’t see a few posts like this as evidence of a change in attitudes.
I would say the litmus test is – are you getting more or less demon glares, nasty comments etc. when you approach (or date) a younger female in real life? I know in my case, it’s getting worse by the day, although admittedly I’m getting older by the day too.

There have already been a couple of these, some of them I post here over the last few months. Mostly on r/itsthatbad, r/mensrights, and the age-gap subreddits. While I am typing this I remember a thread from 2011 that Anon69 had posted here a few months ago. It was from a seduction/pickup subreddit. They were discussing about approaching/getting to know 16-18-year-olds if I remember correctly. I was astounded when I saw how nuanced the conversation was. Now, there was some criticism whether this was right, but it had none of the vile emotional reactions you would have today. No one in that thread mentioned anything about pedo/nonce/groomer/predator, or prison justice, prison rape, woodchipper an all the other words they nowadays would immediately throw at you.
Obviously this was just one thread. So I am not claiming these words weren’t used, they were, but from my understanding, and experience as well, much less compared to today. Also not saying the early 2010s were the good old times, they were already bad enough, but compared to today definitely better.

Personally, my approach – almost unique it seems – is not to try to convince the world that 14 year olds are mature adults, or even the “free the teens” approach. It’s simply that the importance of sex is vastly inflated in a world with contraception, abortion and so on. And, of course, highlighting the reason that feminists have inflated the importance of sex – the STU/Pussy Cartel motives.
Yes, 14 year old girls are more likely to engage in risky behaviour than 30 year old women (though probably less so than even 25 year old men). It’s completely true. 14 year olds do not have the same experience and wisdom of 50 year olds, that is obvious. But for sex, who cares? 50 year olds can act just as immature as 14 year olds in relationships. Older men also provide what the girls lack in experience and wisdom, it’s complementary as nature intended. By 2038, we could see noticeably more 80-y-o’s who look 60-65, but little to no increase in the proportion who look younger than that.
Men age more gently than women, and presumably there will be more 80-y-o men than 80-y-o women who look young for their age. Obviously, 60-65-y-o women have only marginal or niche SMV.
There might also be more people who are hard to pin an age on, within reason. In 2038, you might, for example, have a lot more people who are in their 50’s who might pass for being in their late 30’s than now. This would include people much younger than 80. There might also more be people in their 50’s who look in their late 30’s. as opposed to being simply hard to pin.
The younger the age, the harder it is to imagine huge changes between now and 2038. Perhaps what I have written could also apply to people in their 40’s, ie you’ll notice more who either are hard to pin or who downright look as though they’re still in their late 20’s.
The thing with skin rejuvenation is that aging skin is only part of the reason we look older (and less attractive), even if it’s the biggest reason. The facial bone structure also changes as we age. Even if an 80 year old could have their 16 year old skin back, they would still probably look a bit weird.

Oh, I am not linking the old format just for the sake of it. There is a distinct advantage when using the old one. If you wanna visit subreddit that are 18+, you can’t access them without logging in, and I don’t myself or others to look at a page where one as to login first. With the old format you can access subreddits that are marked 18+ without logging or signing in. Take for example the r/agegap subreddit. You can’t read their threads without logging in in the new format.
Fair enough, but surely most people have a Reddit account here? For me I’m permanently logged in until I clear my cookies once a week or so.
At least with Reddit, hell hole that it is, you can respond with a little bit of ‘activism’ in that you can upvote, downvote, or even leave a comment of your own.

I doubt that last bit about pred hunters paying people to pose as the victims of stings. Maybe it does happen occasionaly but I don’t doubt that it’s easy to entrap men online, and we know the reason for that – all men want to bang teen girls. The only difference with these saps who get stung is that they are usually either mentally disabled, absolutely desperate and lonely, or migrants who aren’t aware of the laws.

During my trip to the UK a couple of months ago, I was in a shithole town for a day and walking through a wooded area towards the town center. I had only got off the train 1/2 an hour previously. Four crackheads were walking in my direction, one of them a female, and they were looking at me and one was pointing at me. As I approached I heard him asking the woman – “was that the guy who touched you earlier”, and she seemed to be saying yes, and he kept saying – “are you sure, are you sure?”. I just pulled back my shoulders and walked past them whilst confidently looking the guy in the eye, and they didn’t do anything.

I watched Roman Polanski’s 1965 movie “Repulsion” for the first time last night. I enjoyed it, but it seems ironic that it’s about a sexually abused young woman’s descent into madness. I mean, in 1965, the idea that ‘sexual abuse’ (even real sexual abuse) could lead to catastrophic mental illness must have been quite new. And we know what Polanski did after that.
