A commonnly held objection to Sexual Trade Union theory in our circles is the claim that men are as much to blame for anti-male sex laws as women are. This objection can take a ‘weak’ form, and a ‘strong’ form. The weak form holds that women rely on men to create or enforce their laws. That is, at least partly, almost undeniable. The stronger form of the objection goes further and claims that men are not simply treacherous tools used by women, but equally or nearly as supportive of the laws as women. For example, a Norwegian blogger recently claimed that the difference in support is too insignificant to matter. If I recall correctly, he puts the figure at ‘five percent’.
The reality is much different. Survey after survey has revealed a major gender divide in opposition to porn, prostitution, teen sex, deepfake porn, sex robots, and AI girlfriends. Pretty much anything covered on this blog, and you can be sure that women are against it far more than men. For example, I read only today of a recent poll conducted in the UK by ‘the AI Security Institute‘ which found a huge gender difference with regards to attitudes towards preventing AI from making ‘sexually explicit outputs’. Among women surveyed, 50% “strongly agreed” that AI systems should be prevented from generating sexually explicit outputs, whilst the figure for men was only 14%.
But attitude surveys like these don’t tell the whole story. Respondents are already giving their answers in the context of a gynocentric society that has already shaped their moral norms. Men are already ‘conditioned’ to be against the idea of sexually explicit AI (whether porn or AI girlfriends) because they have picked up feminist and female-centric norms about porn ‘objectifying’ women, or read feminist media articles on AI girlfriends posing a ‘threat’ to women and to society. Furthermore, a man knows he will be judged more for given the ‘wrong’ answer than a woman will, and thus their opposition is overplayed in such polls, in the same way that US election polls always now underestimate the true measure of support for the Republicans.
What might be useful is to look at a society that is truly free of female influence, in which men really do, or did, set the sexual rules by themselves, for themselves. Is there such a society? Was there ever such a society? Well, yes there was. A parallel society, often driven underground, but one sublimely free from female control, if only because of the very fact it was underground and illegal and consisted only of men. I’m talking about the ‘gay’ community, or at least much of its history prior to its relatively recent decriminalization.
What do we see when we look at the history of homosexuality? What we see is a male sexual paradise, if only it had consisted not of same-sex pairings, but rather heterosexual males with young females. For in the homosexual community, up until its legalization, there were no taboos on age gap relationships or sex with teens – that was its very essence. Even the word ‘homosexual’ is largely a modern invention. Throughout history, the word used was ‘pederast’. ‘Homosexuality’ was nothing more and nothing less than older male attraction to male youth – from Socrates to Alan Turing. There was no ‘requirement’ for commitment, let alone clandestine ‘marriages’. There was likely very little notion of ‘cheating’, other than a natural fear (especially as the older partner aged) that his young lover may spend less time with him. And homosexual teen boys who had sex with older lovers did not ‘grow up’ to feel that they had been ‘abused’, or filled with regrets. They just started banging teen boys themselves. The cycle of gay life from Ancient Greece to the Swinging Sixties.
No doubt sexual jealousy always existed in homosexual communities throughout history, just as it does today. But the point is that it manifestly did not lead to gay men inventing their own taboos on sex with teens, or insults, or shaming, or ostracization of gay men who were more sexually successful than others. No doubt (as happens even today) many ‘straight’ men who condemned the likes of Oscar Wilde were themselves jealous closet gays and ‘paedocrites’. But what we see when we look at gay lifestyles before legalization was an underground paradise of male sexual freedom, free from the sexual control of women. Indeed, homosexuals often blamed women for their persecution, who they referred to contemptuously as ‘breeders’. It should also be noted that homosexuality in the UK was completely criminalized in the same 1885 Criminal Law Amendment Act that was petitioned for by proto-feminists, and which raised the age of consent from 13 to 16 (for heterosexuals) and made brothels illegal.
A perplexing Norwegian blogger often makes the hyperbolic claim that ‘all sex is illegal’ for men now (he did so again in his latest article). If that was truly the case then men everywhere would be chasing 15-year-olds, just as gay men did throughout history when all sex for gay men was illegal.
Pederasty was sanitized and accepted as adult homosexuality, subject to the same feminist anti-male sex rules and laws as heterosexuality. That was the price that pederasts had to pay to come out of the closet. This process reached its climax with the acceptance of gay marriage – a concept that is entirely female driven. Feminists needed to bring pederasts ‘into the fold’ of female controlled sexuality, and turn them into marriage seeking homosexuals who abhor sex with minors, because their parallel underground society was too much of a shining example of male sexual freedom. In the age of the contraceptive pill, it showed heterosexual men what their sexual lives could now be like, free from the bonds and needs of the female sexual imperative. And feminist society could not allow this.
But we, as Male Sexualists, can and must learn from it.
