Sounds like the girl was in love with her “abuser” and attempted to run off with him, and then the father caught up with him and shot him to death.
I’m not autistic so I understand that no society is ever likely to see 67 year old men running off with 13 year old girls against the wishes of her parents to be acceptable, but it’s another example of the lives of “sex offenders” essentially being considered close to worthless now.
