“A businessman found himself at the centre of a year-long nightmare at the hands of the Metropolitan Police after tapping a male waiter on the back for a second to avoid a collision in a hotel bar.
Father-of-two Simon Correia was hauled before the courts after being falsely accused of intimately groping and touching the waiter’s bottom following a black-tie awards ceremony held at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank hotel.

His nightmare only came to an end on February 6 this year when, after seeing the CCTV footage, a judge threw the case out of court, saying it ‘wholly contradicted’ the waiter’s account.”

I know most of you will probably be familiar with the fact that the UK is about to make it mandatory to report suspected child abuse, as I was, but I’ve been reading the entire bill (Crime and Policing Bill) which was just passed in its draft form, and it goes further than that.
Just one example – “child sex offenders’ who enter any premises in which children are present will have to give notification to the police at least 24 hours beforehand.”
So a sex offender will have to do so before going for a swim at his public baths, or I guess even entering a pub in which there might be children present, or a visit to a museum.

The intriguing thing is that erotica in China seems to be written mostly by women. I remember seeing a documentary some decades ago about a female writer of erotica in Lebanon. Could it be that in countries with harsh moral censorship, women get away with what men would not get away with?
In this particular case the BBC’s motivation is twofold: female victimhood + gay victimhood.
