Hello all,
So I am doing a persuasive speech for one of my college classes and I really would like to do it against feminism. (By the way, I am a girl). I am already aware that this is not going to sit well with a lot of people, including my professor, since I go to a small private Christian University with a girl-guy ratio of 3-1. But I would really like to share my views on this topic and I believe that I could at least open up some of the minds of my peers to the subject. So, in order to pull this off, I need to have hard facts; both quantitative and quality information on the topic. I was wondering if anyone on this site might know some resources that I might be able to use or perhaps someone might have a good suggestion for a point that I could make during the speech to back my claim.
Thank You!

I usually find that Feminists are prone to being slightly off-kilter in their thinking. They always seem incapable of and usually avoid anything that compels them to do any sort of real thinking. Incompetency in being incisive and methodical are their traits. They are mostly given to being obtuse, obstinate and are firm believers in accepting everything but the blatant truth.

A great example would be the following:-

This is an e-mail i received in reply from a "friend" whom I asked to design something for me. She sent this polite reply explaining why she could not. I would like to add, that I offered to pay for said service.

After she explained that she could not bring herself to complete the project for me, she went on to saying this:

"As you probably know by now, I don't like your views on religion, nor on feminism. As friends, we don't have to think alike, and we don't have to agree with each other often. We could, in fact, ignore our personal beliefs, and be somewhat okay with each other. I'm totally alright doing that, but you're just too loud to ignore. It's difficult. And I can't help but feel at least a little angry, and really really sad. Not angry at *********, but angry at whatever made you this way. It could be anything or anyone; even you. And I'm sad cos I lost a confidant, as you also have."

"You might feel sad for me too, for not having become wiser with regards to life. Or something like that. Not saying you do, but you might. If so, I believe it'd be best if we just left it that way, pitying each other. I don't like to argue."

"Alright, the point of my telling you all of this is, I don't feel gd when I think about you and ********, separate and together. I feel quite angry when I do, and it'll make me very uncomfortable to design something for the both of you. Stuff produced with bad intentions aren't good. I hope this makes sense to you, and I hope you understand.

I'm sorry if this email hurt/offended you in any way, but I felt it was time to be honest."

At first I excused her on the basis that she was after all a sensitive artist. Then I reconsidered what she had said. She basically dwelled on her feelings which were the result of ascribing to the popular notions of femnism, homosexuality and religion.

So i made the grave error of encouraging her to think out of her box, and perhaps, just for once, try and find out where I was coming from.

My reply:

"Just one point. You say you don’t like my views on feminism, but what are YOUR views on feminism and how much do you really know about it? I mean you might not be so into it such that you went as far as reading works by feminists would you?

If you have, then you’ve probably have read Betty Friedan’s Feminine Mystique, or books by Andrea Dworkin? Germaine Greer? Gloria Steinem, Robin Morgan, Marilyn French, Simone Beauvoir?

I could name a lot more, but you probably wouldn’t know who I’m talking about, if you haven’t done your research. Save for maybe Gloria Steinem.

Or are you aware of how many individual waves of feminism there were and what change each wave brought and its impact today? Do you know where their statistics come from? Can you name the various organisations in America that are now wreaking havoc there?

Or have you read books by Christian Hoff Summers, Laura Schlessinger, Caroline Graglia, Katherine Parker, Lionel Tiger, Susan Venker, Camille Paglia or Phyllis Schafly, Harvey C. Mansfield, Danielle Crittenden and completely disagreed with their each and every one of their views? These people are by the way the anti-feminists whose books I have been reading.

Maybe you think I just pulled out my views from thin air or maybe you think it was formed by watching a few too many of the wrong YouTube videos?

To the contrary, hours and hours of research and burnt weekends have gone into this. Our weekends are spent doing research in the library and recommending books to them so that we can people exposed to truths about feminism, by the way. It’s been months since I watched TV or went to a movie.

My interest comes from wanting to find out what caused the problems in society today. I’m interested in saving marriages, men, women and children as a whole. I’m interested in people, and for things to change, you have to tackle the root problem. The root problem is feminism. Not what it used to be, but what it is today. If you don’t confront it our children are at stake.

How do you claim to support something if you don’t know everything about it? Whose agenda you are not completely aware of? I suggest before you get angry with me, you go and get books by feminists, read them and then read the books by anti-feminists, form an independent opinion and then get angry with me. Now that would be justified.

That is the mark of an objective mind. Something most women lack. Especially the feminists. You want to smarter than the average Jill? This is what you do.

But most of all, I suggest you read books by Helen Andelin.

Actually, I demand that you go and read all of these books and make your own judgment. You’re a friend I love too much to sacrifice to the stupidity of the world, and I think too highly of you to simply leave you unchallenged.

I marvel at the efforts you went to, to not hurt my feelings in writing your e-mail to me. It made me smile more than feel hurt. You’re just too smart to not see through all the propaganda ..."

BIG MISTAKE.

Never, never encourage a liberal to think. Never, never engage a liberal in discussion or seek to reason with them using facts, or any sort of logic.

At all.

" To be honest, i don't care what books say. I have no time for books, tv, or anything much else cos my days are filled with ppl. I cannot research endlessly to have facts kept in my mind to fight causes. And i am fine with that cos when you know something is right or wrong, you know it. Just like when you witness a murder, you know it's wrong. And nope, that isn't an extreme comparison. I don't need a list of authors to tell me how much it affects the entire family when one woman is oppressed, even in a place like Singapore, or that hate among religions kills, or that openly hating homosexuality is similar to racism, and in very very bad taste. The major problems that the world faces are unemployment, poverty, over-population and global warming. If you really want to actively support a cause, support something that will take humanity a step forward. If you honestly want to take a solid stand, gender and religion issues aren't global enough. Forget our children, the world has to survive first. Why don't you put your time and energy into something useful like those urgent issues, instead of harping on being anti-something? Promote something that is truly important.

Reading up doesn't make you smarter than average. Come on lah, if so, any jill can be a smart-ass if she tried. You are wise when your judgements are wise. The ability to make good judgements don't come from research and you have proven this further to me. I don't care enough to strive to be smarter than the average jill, btw. I am happy with my thought processes cos they are logical, esp with regards to basic human rights. no need to go to the library to validate them cos they are rational and logical, plain and simple. I am aware that you have implied on a few occasions that one wld fall in love with me only for my face. In case you feel like you need to deny it, it'll be fruitless cos i've heard of this from a few ppl. I didn't care much back then but now, your attitude is really getting on my nerves, and i have to tell you this; respect is very very important. it does not matter what you believe in, and i told you that in my previous email. If you cld learn to respect an individual's wish to stay stupid in your opinion, you wld at least gain some respect, or, not lose any. In the same way, let my beliefs be. I respected you enough to not argue with you unless you did. Try that, seriously."

To which I unwisely lost my objectivity (slightly), and replied in this fashion:

" This isn't an argument, I'm not arguing, I'm simply just letting you kow my POV. That's all.

1."my days are filled with ppl" - Implying that you care about people. No difference here. Doctors don't get people healed simply by spending time with them, they need the knowledge to cure their ailments. That is the purpose behind all of my reading.

2."when you know something is right or wrong, you know it." - precisely why i even started researching, because I wanted to know for sure what I felt was wrong was really wrong, since popular opinion says otherwise.

3."Just like when you witness a murder, you know it's wrong." - You say homosexuality is natural. Do you know that things like paedophilia and murders (i.e. the kind some people commit, you know the serial killer kind) are also becaus ethey are inclined to do it? It really is in their "genes".Yet, they are incarcerated, and society does not condone their actions. Yet THEY are called upon to supress their inner inclinations. Homosexuals once were too, until they started getting support for it. You could say that the law changed once people saw the error of their ways the same way they did for slavery. Here's a interesting point to note though, the same group people who fight against homosexuality today are the same group of people who fought to liberate the slaves at risk to their own lives. Their beliefs and personalities have not changed. They still stand for the same things they at the time when the fought for slavery to be abolished.

4. "I don't need a list of authors to tell me how much it affects the entire family when one woman is oppressed" - Do you even know what oppression is? What would you term as oppression?

5. "hate among religion kills" - that's strange, who's the one doing the hating again? Eh, Christian fundamentalists will give you headache. Fundamentalists belonging to other religions will cut your head off altogether. You have not bothered to study demographics, understand where the media comes from and why they paint the picture the way they do, neither have you understood how and why things are working in the way that they do now. All of this by the way, is from a secular point of view. You don't feel compelled to go and find out, that's your choce, but don't mock the people who are genuinely concerned and ask them to ascribe to your own state of ignorance. To you, ignorance keeps everyone happy, but it was this very same ignorance that brought America to its knees, and it is this very same ignorance that people like Walid Shoebat and other ex-terrorists are working to snap people out of. I didn't have to go too far, there is an ex-muslim lawyer who works in the same law firm that i do who is now christian. Are you telling me you wished these people would be quiet instead?

6. "The major problems that the world faces are unemployment, poverty, over-population and global warming. Promote something that is truly important."- Ok here's the thing, I started doing research on those things, put in my application with UNICEF, been on a hunger strike, done the recycling (still do)and sung "Kumbaya" WAY before you even came to pay attention to those things in the media.Gender and religion issues are NOT global enough? I'm not even going to bother telling you why that is such a weird statement. BY THE WAY, unemployment, poverty, over-population- these are all symptoms of the condition of the human heart. I aleady told you why it's important to tackle the root cause. Why do you think unemployment exists? Why do you think poverty exists? Over-population? What do you think that is a result of. It is PRECISELy because you fail to understand how society, economy and other such things work that you think that these issues are in no way inter-connected and are of themselves individual issues.

7. "Reading up doesn't make you smarter than average. Come on lah, if so, any jill can be a smart-ass if she tried. You are wise when your judgements are wise. The ability to make good judgements don't come from research and you have proven this further to me. I don't care enough to strive to be smarter than the average jill, btw. I am happy with my thought processes cos they are logical, esp with regards to basic human rights. no need to go to the library to validate them cos they are rational and logical, plain and simple." - Don't go to school anymore, don't study any more I mean, for what? You can survive on your own judgments, thought processes and logic, you don't need to learn any more. All you know of basic human rights is what the media and people around you tell you. Basically what you're telling me is that you think you're right, and you don't care what anyone else has to say. Where did such arrogance come from? I have NEVER dared say anything about anything unless I was sure I am compleletely informed.

8. "I am aware that you have implied on a few occasions that one wld fall in love with me only for my face. Try that, seriously." - WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. My dear lady, let me tell you something, all this time, I only ever thought were beautiful as you were because of your PERSONALITY. I describe you as gentle, kind, sensible, and feminine to whoever asks (especially *********), AND THOSE were the qualities that I thought made you beautiful in my eyes. Because in case you think that you REALLY are Aishwarya Rai, I have news for you. Unlike, other people in your life I get around, I see LOADS of girls who happen to be SO breathtakingly beautiful, they will probably never need make up for the rest of their natural lives or anything really.I just don't think too highly of them, as i did of you, simply by virtue of the fact that they had sucky personalities. In case you didn't read my previous e-mail to you carefully enough, I told you I happen to think highly of you and that i think you're different from all those other people out there who think they know everything. You want to stick to your beliefs because you're afraid of offending others. I mean, let's look at it this way. YOu care about the rights of the homosexual, the feminist, person of other religions. And yet, you have no qualms about telling me stuff a sock in it. You can accept ALL of these people, but not me, a girl who has been your friend for at least almost a decade. Why? because I'm unpopular. You rather have the friendship of the majority, then me. Oh it would have so easy, if I had just KEPT QUIET, but darn it, i wouldn't and so, It makes you angry. What sort of friendship cannot even survive opposing views? What kind of love is that? I never knew you to be such an ardent supporter of the homosexuals and the feminists. Did it never occur to you to trust me? And yet you have called me a friend for so many years, and you cannot even offer me a certain level of trust or even an attempt to find out why I think this way. YOU have no respect for me to do even that. But you want me to respect you enough to leave you alone. REAL friends don't just leave their friends to join the rest of the sheep in doing group think the way you are. It is clear what you value. Popularity, being liked by others, being praised for holding popular views, the number of friends on your facebook. You think we don't care about people, but this is precisely BECAUSE we do. let me ask you a question, would you spend your spare time, whatever little you have, talking to boys who've joined gangs and are ruining their lives, and helping them get out of it the way ********* does? Would you even care to spend five minutes massaging the feet of some unrelated old lady because she is suffering in pain?

You don't go around boasting about these things. What your right hand does, your left hand should not know.

Don't think you do or would.

By the way, it's the said old lady, who told me that a friend who doesn't stick by you for your views, no matter whether she agrees with you or not, is not a real friend at all.

I don;t have the heart to remove you from FB, because I still love you as a friend no matter what. but it sounds like you've had enough. So I wouldn't mind if you went ahead and did it.

Loyalty, try that, seriously."

BIG BIG BIG Mistake.

"I knew you'd give me yet another essay! With my reply dissected, that too in numbered points. Niiice. I think I shall do the same, except I'll omit the numbering and responding to specific parts and shit. It's quite cold here. Lazy lah.

- what I thought while I first read all that was hahaha gd one blah blah blah there she goes again blah blah blah wtf, did she just insult me again blah blah oh nooo not this ridiculous point again BLAH BLAH BLAH ooo, another insult yadda yadda insult insult yakkety yakkety yak ah she praises her husband and belittles me and asks me to try out loyalty when she knows whack about it.

notice there're lots of 'again's? I'm tired of going back and forth with you. when I fight with my bf, we go in circles instead. you're way way waaaaaaaay worse.

- you work in a law firm and handle divorce cases and have done tons of research, and you're a wife, so you apparently know some stuff. I've heard this so many times, and I'd be damn happy if I had a dollar each time I heard it. Cos I'd then have passed each dollar to you to please shut up. You really think you know better than someone like my mom, or sisters or other sane women? Think again lah. Oh wait...that'll probably be no use. Your thoughts are soaked.

- a while ago, you tagged me in a note abt homosexuality. I don't seem to be able to remove my tag cos of bloody fb. :( anyway. THAT WAS DAMN IRRITATING. I'd not even replied to your long essay, and you tag me in another one of your bloody train crash masterpieces. Why don't you just leave me alone? TRY THAT, SERIOUSLY. Please?

- I used to listen to you talk abt christianity back then, and I'd just take them as random volunteered info, since I don't share your beliefs. You started talking a little about Hinduism for a really brief while, afterwhich you went all Jew. And you've succeeded in going a few levels up the crazy scale.

- I really really reeeaaallly never cared what religion you believed in, and nvr cared abt your beliefs. I took you as a human being, and person with a heart, a friend with whom I cld maybe have a rewarding friendship with, with religion not even being brought up. That concept is probably so alien to you, you're going 'what, no talk abt radical beliefs? that's my bloody forte!!'

- The above-mentioned point is why I can't stand you now. You go on and on and on about all that you've learnt doing whatever research you do, and it's soooo tiring. Fine, you have different beliefs. Up to you ofcos, and ofcos, I don't care. But you keep harping on them. Provoking at first, but it gets boring eventually. SO BORING.

- you know me, I'm a very very nice, patient person. For me to talk like this to you, you'd have to have acted like a real ass. I'm actually quite amazed, you did it!

- you've been doing stupid things for a long time. One such example is the one where you sent Jay and me a video about relationships, after I'd dumped him. Back then, I wondered, wtf is wrong with her? Now I know a bit btr. You're just prone to doing stupid things.

- You were the same many years ago, and you are the same now. Nothing wld go into your head. I washed my hands off you last yr. You started showcasing your senselessness on FB, and I washed my hands off you even further, if that's possible. Don't tell me I don't help people cos the amount of effort I put into talking to you, I'd have bloody helped 5 gangsters get back on track.

- Don't you dare imply that ******** is a better person than I am. And what's this thing about massaging an old lady's foot? Aren't you kinda boasting? 'My ***** is so great, he's so damn kind, he massaged a foot.' What your right hand does, your left hand should not know? My foot lah.

- That old lady is right. I tried to be your friend, but you were just too loud with your views. You know I can't stand them. When I suggest agreeing to disagree, you send me essays filled with statistics and whatshitnot. Again I think, wtf is wrong with her? You won't leave me alone with my views. Hence, I don't mind being a bad friend, if that's what this makes me.

- It's amusing when you ask me base questions like, whether I know what oppression means. Wtf is that? You're insulting yourself by insulting me, y'know. You're making it obvious that you think you're so much more aware. Now I have news for you. You can stuff your awareness when bad smells lurk cos you lack the ability to judge a situation correctly because of your biasedness. Stop telling people to open their minds. Work on yours first. I can foresee you being ignored by the general population that you often mentioned. Not cos be ascribe to popular ideas, but because our morals, when it comes to the big picture, are in place. And it starts with me. I'm going to ignore you, now on. Okay, I bet a number of them already have started, but I'll just make myself feel special here.

Kindly ignore any communication from me after this mail as I'm sure it'd be pesky spam."

Hmmm, well, I did apologise for anything mean I said over a text message and eased her of the burden of being my friend. 10 years and that is all it came down to. Profoundly saddening, but, it makes a great case study nonetheless.

Only a liberal could date a man for six years, get married to him, cheat on him while still married to him (with current boyfriend), get her marriage annulled, then turn around and deride someone else for mere changes of mind she has had over the years and consider THAT unethical and harmful to everyone around.

Just for your information, what probably had her ticking with annoyance and refusing to design the project I asked her to, would be the text I wanted included in the design to be given as a Birthday present to my husband.

"Follower of the Lion of Judah, Son of Eretz Israel and Warrior for the cause of Zion."

This is a celebration of another year of wisdom added to the great man you are fast becoming.

This is a small tribute to you, for the great man that you already are.

May you lead your life as the noble Lion does, a King of his home, an embodiment of strength and a symbol of righteousness.

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.

This is an e-mail i received in reply from a “friend” whom I asked to design something for me. She sent this polite reply explaining why she could not. I would like to add, that I offered to pay for said service.

After she explained that she could not bring herself to complete the project for me, she went on to saying this:

“As you probably know by now, I don’t like your views on religion, nor on feminism. As friends, we don’t have to think alike, and we don’t have to agree with each other often. We could, in fact, ignore our personal beliefs, and be somewhat okay with each other. I’m totally alright doing that, but you’re just too loud to ignore. It’s difficult. And I can’t help but feel at least a little angry, and really really sad. Not angry at *********, but angry at whatever made you this way. It could be anything or anyone; even you. And I’m sad cos I lost a confidant, as you also have.”

“You might feel sad for me too, for not having become wiser with regards to life. Or something like that. Not saying you do, but you might. If so, I believe it’d be best if we just left it that way, pitying each other. I don’t like to argue.”

“Alright, the point of my telling you all of this is, I don’t feel gd when I think about you and ********, separate and together. I feel quite angry when I do, and it’ll make me very uncomfortable to design something for the both of you. Stuff produced with bad intentions aren’t good. I hope this makes sense to you, and I hope you understand.

I’m sorry if this email hurt/offended you in any way, but I felt it was time to be honest.”

My reply:

“Just one point.

You’re just too smart to not see through all the propaganda …”

BIG MISTAKE.

Never, never encourage a liberal to think. Never, never engage a liberal in discussion or seek to reason with them using facts, or any sort of logic.

At all.

” To be honest, i don’t care what books say. I have no time for books, tv, or anything much else cos my days are filled with ppl. I cannot research endlessly to have facts kept in my mind to fight causes. And i am fine with that cos when you know something is right or wrong, you know it. Just like when you witness a murder, you know it’s wrong. And nope, that isn’t an extreme comparison. I don’t need a list of authors to tell me how much it affects the entire family when one woman is oppressed, even in a place like Singapore, or that hate among religions kills, or that openly hating homosexuality is similar to racism, and in very very bad taste. The major problems that the world faces are unemployment, poverty, over-population and global warming. If you really want to actively support a cause, support something that will take humanity a step forward. If you honestly want to take a solid stand, gender and religion issues aren’t global enough. Forget our children, the world has to survive first. Why don’t you put your time and energy into something useful like those urgent issues, instead of harping on being anti-something? Promote something that is truly important.

Reading up doesn’t make you smarter than average. Come on lah, if so, any jill can be a smart-ass if she tried. You are wise when your judgements are wise. The ability to make good judgements don’t come from research and you have proven this further to me. I don’t care enough to strive to be smarter than the average jill, btw. I am happy with my thought processes cos they are logical, esp with regards to basic human rights. no need to go to the library to validate them cos they are rational and logical, plain and simple. I am aware that you have implied on a few occasions that one wld fall in love with me only for my face. In case you feel like you need to deny it, it’ll be fruitless cos i’ve heard of this from a few ppl. I didn’t care much back then but now, your attitude is really getting on my nerves, and i have to tell you this; respect is very very important. it does not matter what you believe in, and i told you that in my previous email. If you cld learn to respect an individual’s wish to stay stupid in your opinion, you wld at least gain some respect, or, not lose any. In the same way, let my beliefs be. I respected you enough to not argue with you unless you did. Try that, seriously.”

To which I unwisely lost my objectivity (slightly), and replied in this fashion:

” This isn’t an argument, I’m not arguing, I’m simply just letting you kow my POV. That’s all.

1.”my days are filled with ppl” – Implying that you care about people. No difference here. Doctors don’t get people healed simply by spending time with them, they need the knowledge to cure their ailments. That is the purpose behind all of my reading.

2.”when you know something is right or wrong, you know it.” – precisely why i even started researching, because I wanted to know for sure what I felt was wrong was really wrong, since popular opinion says otherwise.

3.”Just like when you witness a murder, you know it’s wrong.” – You say homosexuality is natural. Do you know that things like paedophilia and murders (i.e. the kind some people commit, you know the serial killer kind) are also becaus ethey are inclined to do it? It really is in their “genes”.Yet, they are incarcerated, and society does not condone their actions. Yet THEY are called upon to supress their inner inclinations. Homosexuals once were too, until they started getting support for it. You could say that the law changed once people saw the error of their ways the same way they did for slavery. Here’s a interesting point to note though, the same group people who fight against homosexuality today are the same group of people who fought to liberate the slaves at risk to their own lives. Their beliefs and personalities have not changed. They still stand for the same things they at the time when the fought for slavery to be abolished.

4. “I don’t need a list of authors to tell me how much it affects the entire family when one woman is oppressed” – Do you even know what oppression is? What would you term as oppression?

5. “hate among religion kills” – that’s strange, who’s the one doing the hating again? Eh, Christian fundamentalists will give you headache. Fundamentalists belonging to other religions will cut your head off altogether. You have not bothered to study demographics, understand where the media comes from and why they paint the picture the way they do, neither have you understood how and why things are working in the way that they do now. All of this by the way, is from a secular point of view. You don’t feel compelled to go and find out, that’s your choce, but don’t mock the people who are genuinely concerned and ask them to ascribe to your own state of ignorance. To you, ignorance keeps everyone happy, but it was this very same ignorance that brought America to its knees, and it is this very same ignorance that people like Walid Shoebat and other ex-terrorists are working to snap people out of. I didn’t have to go too far, there is an ex-muslim lawyer who works in the same law firm that i do who is now christian. Are you telling me you wished these people would be quiet instead?

6. “The major problems that the world faces are unemployment, poverty, over-population and global warming. Promote something that is truly important.”- Ok here’s the thing, I started doing research on those things, put in my application with UNICEF, been on a hunger strike, done the recycling (still do)and sung “Kumbaya” WAY before you even came to pay attention to those things in the media.Gender and religion issues are NOT global enough? I’m not even going to bother telling you why that is such a weird statement. BY THE WAY, unemployment, poverty, over-population- these are all symptoms of the condition of the human heart. I aleady told you why it’s important to tackle the root cause. Why do you think unemployment exists? Why do you think poverty exists? Over-population? What do you think that is a result of. It is PRECISELy because you fail to understand how society, economy and other such things work that you think that these issues are in no way inter-connected and are of themselves individual issues.

7. “Reading up doesn’t make you smarter than average. Come on lah, if so, any jill can be a smart-ass if she tried. You are wise when your judgements are wise. The ability to make good judgements don’t come from research and you have proven this further to me. I don’t care enough to strive to be smarter than the average jill, btw. I am happy with my thought processes cos they are logical, esp with regards to basic human rights. no need to go to the library to validate them cos they are rational and logical, plain and simple.” – Don’t go to school anymore, don’t study any more I mean, for what? You can survive on your own judgments, thought processes and logic, you don’t need to learn any more. All you know of basic human rights is what the media and people around you tell you. Basically what you’re telling me is that you think you’re right, and you don’t care what anyone else has to say. Where did such arrogance come from? I have NEVER dared say anything about anything unless I was sure I am compleletely informed.

8. “I am aware that you have implied on a few occasions that one wld fall in love with me only for my face. Try that, seriously.” – WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Unlike, other people in your life I get around, I see LOADS of girls who happen to be SO breathtakingly beautiful, they will probably never need make up for the rest of their natural lives or anything really.I just don’t think too highly of them, as i did of you, simply by virtue of the fact that they had sucky personalities. In case you didn’t read my previous e-mail to you carefully enough, I told you I happen to think highly of you and that i think you’re different from all those other people out there who think they know everything. You want to stick to your beliefs because you’re afraid of offending others. I mean, let’s look at it this way. YOu care about the rights of the homosexual, the feminist, person of other religions. And yet, you have no qualms about telling me stuff a sock in it. You can accept ALL of these people, but not me, a girl who has been your friend for at least almost a decade. Why? because I’m unpopular. You rather have the friendship of the majority, then me. Oh it would have so easy, if I had just KEPT QUIET, but darn it, i wouldn’t and so, It makes you angry. REAL friends don’t just leave their friends to join the rest of the sheep in doing group think the way you are. It is clear what you value. Popularity, being liked by others, being praised for holding popular views, the number of friends on your facebook. You think we don’t care about people, but this is precisely BECAUSE we do. let me ask you a question, would you spend your spare time, whatever little you have, talking to boys who’ve joined gangs and are ruining their lives, and helping them get out of it the way ********* does? Would you even care to spend five minutes massaging the feet of some unrelated old lady because she is suffering in pain?

You don’t go around boasting about these things. What your right hand does, your left hand should not know.

Don’t think you do or would.

By the way, it’s the said old lady, who told me that a friend who doesn’t stick by you for your views, no matter whether she agrees with you or not, is not a real friend at all.

I don;t have the heart to remove you from FB, because I still love you as a friend no matter what. but it sounds like you’ve had enough. So I wouldn’t mind if you went ahead and did it.

Loyalty, try that, seriously.”

BIG BIG BIG Mistake.

“I knew you’d give me yet another essay! With my reply dissected, that too in numbered points. Niiice. I think I shall do the same, except I’ll omit the numbering and responding to specific parts and shit. It’s quite cold here. Lazy lah.

- what I thought while I first read all that was hahaha gd one blah blah blah there she goes again blah blah blah wtf, did she just insult me again blah blah oh nooo not this ridiculous point again BLAH BLAH BLAH ooo, another insult yadda yadda insult insult yakkety yakkety yak ah she praises her husband and belittles me and asks me to try out loyalty when she knows whack about it.

notice there’re lots of ‘again’s? I’m tired of going back and forth with you. when I fight with my bf, we go in circles instead. you’re way way waaaaaaaay worse.

- you work in a law firm and handle divorce cases and have done tons of research, and you’re a wife, so you apparently know some stuff. I’ve heard this so many times, and I’d be damn happy if I had a dollar each time I heard it. Cos I’d then have passed each dollar to you to please shut up. You really think you know better than someone like my mom, or sisters or other sane women? Think again lah. Oh wait…that’ll probably be no use. Your thoughts are soaked.

- a while ago, you tagged me in a note abt homosexuality. I don’t seem to be able to remove my tag cos of bloody fb. anyway. THAT WAS DAMN IRRITATING. I’d not even replied to your long essay, and you tag me in another one of your bloody train crash masterpieces. Why don’t you just leave me alone? TRY THAT, SERIOUSLY. Please?

- I used to listen to you talk abt christianity back then, and I’d just take them as random volunteered info, since I don’t share your beliefs. You started talking a little about Hinduism for a really brief while, afterwhich you went all Jew. And you’ve succeeded in going a few levels up the crazy scale.

- I really really reeeaaallly never cared what religion you believed in, and nvr cared abt your beliefs. I took you as a human being, and person with a heart, a friend with whom I cld maybe have a rewarding friendship with, with religion not even being brought up. That concept is probably so alien to you, you’re going ‘what, no talk abt radical beliefs? that’s my bloody forte!!’

- The above-mentioned point is why I can’t stand you now. You go on and on and on about all that you’ve learnt doing whatever research you do, and it’s soooo tiring. Fine, you have different beliefs. Up to you ofcos, and ofcos, I don’t care. But you keep harping on them. Provoking at first, but it gets boring eventually. SO BORING.

- you know me, I’m a very very nice, patient person. For me to talk like this to you, you’d have to have acted like a real ass. I’m actually quite amazed, you did it!

- you’ve been doing stupid things for a long time. One such example is the one where you sent Jay and me a video about relationships, after I’d dumped him. Back then, I wondered, wtf is wrong with her? Now I know a bit btr. You’re just prone to doing stupid things.

- You were the same many years ago, and you are the same now. Nothing wld go into your head. I washed my hands off you last yr. You started showcasing your senselessness on FB, and I washed my hands off you even further, if that’s possible. Don’t tell me I don’t help people cos the amount of effort I put into talking to you, I’d have bloody helped 5 gangsters get back on track.

- Don’t you dare imply that ******** is a better person than I am. And what’s this thing about massaging an old lady’s foot? Aren’t you kinda boasting? ‘My ***** is so great, he’s so damn kind, he massaged a foot.’ What your right hand does, your left hand should not know? My foot lah.

- That old lady is right. I tried to be your friend, but you were just too loud with your views. You know I can’t stand them. When I suggest agreeing to disagree, you send me essays filled with statistics and whatshitnot. Again I think, wtf is wrong with her? You won’t leave me alone with my views. Hence, I don’t mind being a bad friend, if that’s what this makes me.

- It’s amusing when you ask me base questions like, whether I know what oppression means. Wtf is that? You’re insulting yourself by insulting me, y’know. You’re making it obvious that you think you’re so much more aware. I’m going to ignore you, now on. Okay, I bet a number of them already have started, but I’ll just make myself feel special here.

Kindly ignore any communication from me after this mail as I’m sure it’d be pesky spam.”

“Follower of the Lion of Judah, Son of Eretz Israel and Warrior for the cause of Zion.”

Let your courage shine forth as you battle for the cause, that when that day of reckoning arrives, I may rejoice in hearing these words said unto you-

“Behold, my servant whom I have chosen, my beloved in whom my soul is well pleased.”

In it I shall rejoice knowing that I had the honour of having had a small part to play.

Wishing you the Happiest of Twenty-Second Birthdays, to Christian Eliab Ratnam the Lion-Hearted.

Hey guys, wrote this sometime ago, trying to make it go viral amongst us anti-feminists. Just a display of feminist stupidity i thought might tickle you lot. Have fun reading. :D

I respected you enough to not argue with you unless you did.

Must have had her feminist blood boiling.

Hey guys, wrote this sometime ago, trying to make it go viral amongst us anti-feminists. Just a display of feminist stupidity i thought might tickle you lot. Have fun reading.

My reply:

“Just one point.

Try that, seriously.” – WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

I’m going to ignore you, now on. Okay, I bet a number of them already have started, but I’ll just make myself feel special here.

Kindly ignore any communication from me after this mail as I’m sure it’d be pesky spam.”

“Follower of the Lion of Judah, Son of Eretz Israel and Warrior for the cause of Zion.”

Wishing you the Happiest of Twenty-Second Birthdays, to ___________________ the Lion-Hearted.

Your Help Meet,

Tehillah Ratnam”

I mean, all that love for a mere man?

Must have had her feminist blood boiling.

Thanks for keeping up the good fight. There are so many garbage "feminist" blogs out there seeking only to improve themselves by besmirching men. Let's take for example, this one:
http://www.applecidermage.com

This author apparently has a serious problem with men. While the blog seems to be confined to the media, it is full of half-truths and false accusations. It preaches an image that men are merely "sexually-driven" primitive oppressive creatures, and quite frankly makes me sick to my stomach.

Keep it up, you're doing lots of good.

That's rather a crude and inaccurate summary of what I've been saying here for the last 2 years.

They worked their way into politics and business as a means of economic and sexual survival. They were also young when they began their climb up the ladder (individually).

I've never said that older women suddenly 'got jealous' the moment the pill was introduced. Much of the early second wave of feminism was sex positive and much of it was carried through by young women. The rush into education was caused largely by the pill, aided by other technological advances - such as domestic appliances, that enabled women to delay marriage and to want and to have careers and an education. But a lot of the sudden politicisation of young women in the 60's and 70's was brought about by the rather sudden sexual revolution. For example, despite the pill, unwanted pregnancies actually increased - necessitating young women to politically campaign for the 'right' to have an abortion.

Most of this process isn't fully conscious, and parts of it lead to vicious cycles. For example, the rush into education further increased the numbers of single young women in the free sexual market (and who were mixing with similar young men, further creating a loosening of sexual mores).

And I don't think there's actually much reasoning involved in feminism, apart from deceitful self-rationalisation.

I just wanted to make sure I was getting this right: the underlying reasoning behind feminism is that when oral contraception became available, men could have sex with young (attractive) women without any long-term consequences (children, marriage) and because of this, older women were jealous that they were not receiving the same attention and thus worked their way into politics and business and academia as... an attempt to scorn men?

Below is a table of the historical divorce rates in the United States, from 1921-3 to 2007-9 :

http://www.thinkinghousewife.com/wp/2010/08/no-fault-divorce-wins-again/

The statistics do not say what causes the rise.

Note that feminism can work both ways. On the one hand women are encouraged to file for divorce because for them it is a win-win situation. On the other hand men who face ruin and the loss of their children would try to avoid divorce at all cost.

After what "your country" has done to you, you have a right to wish the Taliban to be not defeated, but to win and kill as many US-UK-EU soldiers as possible.
