UK Feminist Launches Campaign to Outlaw Sexbots

And so it begins. Dr Kathleen Richardson, a feminist academic working at De Montfort University in Leicester, has launched a campaign to outlaw the development of robots for sexual purposes.

A campaign has been launched calling for a ban on the development of robots that can be used for sex.

Such a use of the technology is unnecessary and undesirable, said campaign leader Dr Kathleen Richardson.

Sex dolls already on the market are becoming more sophisticated and some are now hoping to build artificial intelligence into their products.

Those working in the field say that there is a need for such robots.

Dr Richardson, a robot ethicist at De Montfort University in Leicester, wants to raise awareness of the issue and persuade those developing sex robots to rethink how their technology is used.

“Sex robots seem to be a growing focus in the robotics industry and the models that they draw on – how they will look, what roles they would play – are very disturbing indeed,” she told the BBC.

She believes that they reinforce traditional stereotypes of women and the view that a relationship need be nothing more than physical.

“We think that the creation of such robots will contribute to detrimental relationships between men and women, adults and children, men and men and women and women,” she said

It is not known whether ‘smart’ vibrators, and other automated ‘intelligent’ sex toys for women will be outlawed under Dr Richardson’s proposals, or if the plans just extend to sex toys designed for men.

  1. I still haven’t figured out what a Robot Ethicist actually does.

The way to stop Sexbots is to ban Feminism. Start making real women again, and there’d be little demand for artificial ones.

  2. “She believes that they reinforce traditional stereotypes of women.”

Here she admits to what the real objection is. They can’t force normal men to want Futrelle Groupies as sex partners. So they want to block any alternatives men may think of.

  3. Typical man-hating cunt. Men aren’t going to want misandric, past-it, nasty little bitches like you either way, honey.

  4. I knew it!

As soon as I saw the post on J4MB I thought “I bet he’s already got it up!”

And sure enough, I was right.

Of course it’s quite revealing (not to mention downright advantageous!) that feminists haven’t reacted this way to VR sex tech.

They really are stupid enough to believe that VR tech isn’t a threat to the sexual trade union like sexbots even though VR sex is ALREADY here and will only get better.

The calm before the storm I think.

The Playstation VR goes on sale early next year, as well as the Oculus Rift. And yes, there are already vr sex sites out there, and the tech will get better and better :

This is why MRAs like Eivind who trumpet the ‘your brain on porn’ bullshit may as well as be handing themselves in to their local police station, booking a prison cell place for the year 2025. Even Eivind’s going to be fapping like crazy to this by then, whether or not his gf is still with him.

Sorry for the crappy Nazi/Jew analogies, but it really is like those 1930’s German Jews who voted for Hitler thinking he could ‘tame the communists and fix the economy’ whilst gambling that he wasn’t serious about his threats to the Jews.

    Co-incidentally – from yesterday’s Psychology Today :

It’s good to see you back, btw. I have a suggestion for another cartoon meme – I’ll e-mail you sometime soon.

  6. Another bitter femihag lashes out:

This angry bitch doesn’t like men putting their arms around their girlfriends because ‘it’s like ownership’.

I think she should be a potential Paedocrite-of-the-Month candidate. In 1969, a MUCH younger Helen Mirren starred in a film titled ‘The Age of Consent’. She then portrayed a young girl with an older man who, according to the synopsis, ‘she becomes his muse and rekindles his love of art.’

  7. Honey, you’ve been replaced by a machine. LMFAO!

@Anon – yes, men masturbating will be illegalized.

@Eric – a robot ethicist is a feminist that does not want men to enjoy themselves obviously.

Sorry, this article made me laugh. It is an extreme joke the lengths these witches go to -to stop men from having any kind of sexual enjoyment.

It’s just gotten silly at this point.

  8. What a fat ugly old cunt – you may not want to watch this if you are eating or masturbating :

At around the 2:00 mark she appears to admit that she is having trouble forming relationships and this is why the ‘ethics’ of robot relationships is important to her. Even Human-Stupidity might see some grounds for prosecuting her for attempted rape there.

I still haven’t figured out what a Robot Ethicist actually does.

It’s just a made up role to allow feminists to start campaigning to ban sex bots.

Her university (de Montfort) is pretty crap (ranked 54th in the UK) and based in Leicester, wich is one of the first towns in the UK to have an Islamic majority.

  9. On that subject, I flew back to Londonistan from Eastern Europe the other day. At the airport leaving, the newsagents had porn mags openly on display, including one called ‘lolita’ showing cute young looking 18 year olds. They also had a bondage magazine on display, probably illegal in the UK. Touch down in the UK and walk into our newsagents (W.H.Smiths) and all the softporn magazines have Islamic style veils covering them. Shop was full of Pakastani men with their burqa clad wives.

  10. If you compare how she looks in that recent YouTube video to the photo of herself she’s still using for her academic profile, it shows how vain she is. In the photo she looks 10 years younger, and about 5 stone lighter.

  11. @ScareCrow, how in hell would one enforce a “masturbation ban”? How can they tell that a man living alone is masturbating at any given moment?

  12. @anon – they might never be able to enforce it to anything more than a small percentage, but they could still criminalize it and leave men in fear every time they masturbate.

I’ve read that the police are using surveillance cameras that are powerful enough see through curtains to track men they suspect of viewing illegal porn. Fairly soon, surveillance drones will be so ubiquitous and tiny that the state will be able to have anyone under watch 24 hours a day, even in their own homes. Darpa have already made drones that appear to be insects such as flys. They could also be watching you through the webcam on your computer.

This might seem far-fetched in relation to stopping men masturbating, but the point I’m making is the tech will enable it soon, so it’s no more far fetched than the idea of masturbation being criminalized is.

Didn’t one of the Tea Party femiservative hags actually propose making masturbation illegal?

  13. The justification for the banning of sexbots is clear: the sexbot never gave consent, or perhaps it is because every time a sexbot is used it suffers all over again. One must wait until the sexbot has been owned for at least sixteen years before engaging with it sexually although of course photos of it before that time must be classified as child sexbot porn.

Tragic for Dr Richardson however; she really hit the wall – and hard, but no matter what she wants banned no one is ever going to get a boner for her – ever – again . Were I in her horrid position (academic cubicle) I too would want to ban something, but happily despite my being older than her I can still attract females, but then I do not look as if I have swallowed whole the entire cake shop. Personally, therefore I would like to ban women like Dr Richardson appearing in public without a Burqa or better still ban her from spouting feminist misandrist nonsense masquerading as Ethics. Nothing like that in Aristotle, indeed from my close reading of the Nicomachean Ethics (books seven and eight) I would say Aristotle was all in favour of automatons.

  14. If there is no need for something like this, then why do you want to ban it?
