Topless Femen Rips Up Holy Bible

Ukrainian Femen activist Inna Shevchenko staged a topless protest in front of the Capitol building in Austin, Texas on Saturday.

Shevchenko was demonstrating for the right of women to murder their unborn children. Tearing pages out of a Bible, on International Women's day, she had the words "Your Bible doesn't control my vagina" written across her chest.

Even though Texas is a very conservative state, Austin is a very liberal city with a large gay population. I'd like to see these FEMEN activists try that in say, Lubbock or Abeleine, Texas. They'd get about the same treatment there that PUssy Roit got at Sochi! LOL

IOW, this was probably staged for the media as part of the recent orgy of Russia-bashing over here.

  2. @MRA: I agree, they should stage a nude protest in Saudi Arabia and rip up the Koran.

Actually, I don't have too many problems with this demo. It does disturb me when Femem protests against prostitution and other male sexual rights.

Well if you disagree with Femnen criminalizing men for their male sexuality then you should object to any protest by those same people that claims that men are 'controlling their vaginas'.

A bit like a Jew saying he doesn't have any problems with Nazis protesting that Jews are treating Nazis like subhumans just at the very time when millions of Jews are being marched into deathcamps by Nazis.

But, hey, that's a 'hebophile' for you.

Do you agree with infanticide btw? Peter Singer makes the point that physical location of the child (inside or outside the womb) should have no relevance to its moral right to life. Therefore, if you believe that women have the right to abort babies up to the point of pregnancy then it's difficult to see why you should disagree that women have a similar right to kill their infant children.

    This is simply pathetic.

@theantifeminist, I haven't been able to come here lately but I found some interesting stuff.

Google is politically promoting the Ban Bossy movement (http://banbossy.com/) and then there's this attempt to demonize Japanese men just because it appears that they like lolicon a lot (http://www.tokyoreporter.com/2014/03/11/sex-expert-expresses-concern-about-japans-lolicon-fetish/), despite the actual data used to fundament this bullshit being adult toy sales on Amazon.co.jp.

    Absolutely.

Saying "Men are controlling our vaginas!" is basically codespeak for "Men are getting vagina cheaper than I want them too!".

Feminism is loaded with such 'hidden in plain sight' meaning.

For example is not "Marriage is slavery for women" really just a projection of what all know intuitively to be true about that institution? That it's really slavery for men?
