I find reading the latest misandry stories in the news, and in the men’s rights blogosphere, quite a depressing experience. This is the thing I don’t like about having to maintain this blog – having to search for them and read them on a daily basis. But rarely do they leave me in a state of complete apoplexy as today, when I saw the following story linked at Angry Harry :
Women should not be sent to prison and should instead serve community sentences, according to a new report by the Women’s Justice Taskforce.
The focus should be on health, housing and treatment for drug addiction to reduce reoffending, its report said.
It called for a director of women’s justice to be appointed to provide “clear leadership and accountability”.
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) welcomed the report and said it was carefully considering the recommendations.

And people still question the need for a men’s rights movement!!! Very shortly, throughout Europe, any man ‘caught’ clicking on a sexy young cartoon character’s picture, will face a MANDATORY two years in prison, where we know that, unlike women inmates, he will likely be beaten, spat upon, and raped. For a completely victimless crime, under a law lobbied for by women. Yet women can rob, assault, falsely accuse men, abuse or kill their babies, and whatever else they want to do, and they shouldn’t go to prison simply because of the hole they have between their legs!

I’m still in a state of complete rage (typing this in the evening, 12 hours after reading that BBC story). At times like this I find listening to the following song to be somewhat consoling. I’m not a big Manic Street Preachers fan, but the lyrics of ’If You Tolerate This’ strike a chord with me, when I feel like this. The song (which reached Number 1 in the British charts) tells of the singer’s shame and feeling of cowardice in comparison to the generation who volunteered to fight in the Spanish civil war – men like George Orwell, who were willing to risk their lives in another country fighting against fascism. Something which he knows he, and probably virtually all of this spoilt complacent generation, could never do. And sometimes, on days like this, when I remember how close I’ve come to closing this blog – an anonymous blog, for Christ’s sake - through pure cowardice, then it consoles, as well as shames me, to listen to this song :

The Manic Street Preachers are famously left-wing, so hardly a fitting band for an anti-feminist site, you might think (and maybe I will get a legal summons from their record company tommorrow). But there is a couple of interesting aspects to them that say otherwise.
The original lyricist and rythm guitarist of the band – Richey Edwards, a wonderfully wierd and intense character who contributed greatly to the band’s initial success - went missing in 1995, and has not been seen or heard of since. It is presumed that he killed himself. I recall reading in a music mag, when I was at university, a story about how he used to plaster the band’s tour bus with images of ‘lolita’ type girls (here comes my second legal summons).
The other interesting story relating to the Manic Street Preachers concerns Patrick Jones, a poet and a men’s rights supporter who has written a play about male victims of domestic violence entitled ‘Revelation’. Jones is the brother of band member Nicky Wire (lyricisit and bass guitar player) and the Manic Street Preachers have provided backing music to performances of the play.
Oddly, I’ve never before seen Patrick Jones mentioned in the men’s rights blogosphere. Given that the current MRM sometimes gives the impression of being more American and right wing than Sarah Palin’s Stars and Stripes underwear, perhaps that’s not surprising. But I think he would make a great interview subject for A Voice for Men Radio, or perhaps ManWomanMyth.

One of the reasons why I find it increasingly hard to read anything on the Spearhead, for instance.
I remember a similar sinister proposal to abolish women’s prisons being put forward in Australia back in the late nineties. It was on a notoriously left-wing, very pro-feminist radio network (the taxpayer funded ABC’s Radio National) where such views are promoted and protected from any criticism. The guest was claiming the women were quite simply genetically incapable of violence except to protect themselves or their children, and thus always justified. The obvious question of how infanticide carried out by women would fit in with this assertion wasn’t asked.
Community service orders for serious female offenders would be unpractical and an insult to their victims. As it is right now (in Oz), women frequently ignore court orders such as allowing access visits to ex-partners or obeying restraining orders and our courts refuse to act upon these obvious infringements. Some women actually boast and laugh about how pathetic the law is and how they will continuing doing as they please.
But I doubt women will really have to worry about jail sentences for much longer. I imagine that the next step will be to give women 100% immunity from legal action – except for those caught sympathizing with men. Those women will simply be killed by the self-appointed provisional feminist Government because it will be virtually legal for them to do so. Sieg Heil!

One interesting thing is that Islam’s view of women is equivalent to the early view of women in Christendom (not surprising as they have the same source of course). They perceive women as the dangerous gender; a corrupting influence. Women, unrestrained, become Jezebels, hence the need for restraint (purdah, burkas, strict controls by men). And hence, they treat women who stray viciously- stoning to death etc. This is much how Christendom perceived women; descendents of Eve the corrupter of humanity.
Thus, in both cases you had this perception of women naturally having this powerful, dangerous sexuality.
Somehow, something changed in Protestant society. The Protestants were radical fundamentalists (somewhat akin to Islamists) who plunged Christendom into war and chaos (just as the Islamists are doing to Islam) such as the Thirty Years War. But what is curious is that by the time they have emerged into the late 18th/19th centuries as the post-puritan fanatics that imposed Victorian Values- via the English “dissenter” and “non-conformist” formations, you have this completely opposite and unprecedented picture of women as “the angel in the home”. Women are now the virtuous, pious and pure in heart, while it is male sexuality which is the dangerous corrupting force- and Victorian social purity and feminism are the natural consequences of this worldview.
What I can’t seem to find out is how this happened. There must be some historical source somewhere that will offer an insight, but I’ll be darned if I can find it. It’s a remarkable reversal, yet nobody even seems to really comment on it, let alone analyse it.
Interesting points Ian. From what I’ve read, the battles over the ‘contagious diseases act’ in the Victorian era seemed to have been pivotal regarding the shift from demonising female sexuality to demonising male sexuality.
Jesus said not to stone the woman, this wasn’t preached untill a few 100 years ago and many scholars regarded it as a contrived addition that didn’t exist in earlier manuscrips.
That’s what changed everything. Also paul saying die as a sacrifice for your wife.
Ok so a man be sent to prison for the exact same crime and motives as a woman, but she cant go to prison because female prisons dont exist?
In such a case women will still make up the juries and judges that send men to prison. They will also be the government ministers that make laws which only send men to prison. Women on the other hand will likely be judged in front of a panel of womens aid workers and psychologists who will say whether or not community service is a good idea for them. Not only that but when a woman realises she will only get community service she will then have the green light to do what ever the f*ck she wants. She can murder, attack, abuse, steal – ANYTHING she wants and be rewarded for it.
Why should women have the power to sentence and judge men as well as create laws only men have to obey?

I used to laugh when Muslims said that eventually, the West would be dominated by Islam. I thought they were delusional.
However, I now realize that when many Western men actually become less and less opposed to Islam due to the excesses of misandry, that those Muslims may have a point.
Let’s not be too surprised if we discover that most of the ‘strong independent wimminz’ fall right into it (Islam and the burka) with next to no resistance.

Also note how regardless of which side of the fence a female is on concerning the ‘SEX WARS’ (cue star wars opening theme) the whole thing sure does give a lot of attention to a lot of wallflowers who might otherwise barely exist.

Women (and feminists) are masters of political treason. By continuously switching positions they insure that whichever side in a conflict wins, they, the women, will always emerge on the winning side.
What we need is a “Grand Coalition” of ALL sides united against them and their tyranny. But it will never happen.
Given how biased the law is in favour of women, how immune to legal consequences females are and how nasty feminism has become, it is remarkable that women are still found who do not abuse the system. It is a miracle for example that some women still sleep with men without blackmailing them right after. It is a miracle that some women stay married with men they could sue and ruin. It is a miracle that so many men can still reach the age of 60 without having been accused of rape, sexual harassment or child molestation. Indeed it is remarkable how resilient the decencies inherent to human nature are to brainwashing and greed. There money waiting to be grabbed and men waiting to be sent to jail at the drop of a hat, and still so many women choose not to do it.
Is it because women can have sons, brothers and fathers, and they wouldn’t want those men to come to harm?
P.S. I don’t know about your country, but where I live (Europe), public prosecutors (= district attorneys) are women 80% of the time. Women are per se accusers, not accused.
