EU Votes to Reject Femihag’s Porn Ban Proposal

http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57573771-93/eu-votes-to-reject-porn-ban-proposals/

European citizens can breathe a sigh of relief after a vote in the European Parliament has rejected proposals to ban “all forms of pornography” — including on the Web — in the region.

Today, 625 members of the European Parliament voted 368-159 in favor of passing a report aimed at stamping out gender stereotypes in the region, with 98 abstaining. However, the controversial “porn ban” section of the proposal was rejected.

This vote forms a majority opinion based on Europe’s voting politicians, from which the European Commission can form legislation. Such a law would again be voted upon, and become legally binding in the 27 member state bloc of the EU.

Because the opinion of the Parliament has now been made, it will be extraordinarily difficult for the Commission to draw up similar porn-blocking legislation only to pass it back to the Parliament for another vote.   (article continues…)

Did you guys ever read the rest of the darn proposal?

It proposes total feminist domination, quotas at work and in politics, serious penalties to companies that promote according to merit instead of gender, feminist indoctrination of children at school, etc.

This is not a victory. It is a 97% disaster, instead of a 100 % disaster.

It also is only delayed. 1 generation of total feminist domination and indoctrination in all countries of Europe, and porn and prostitution ban will easily pass.

Yes, I did indeed read the rest of the darn proposal, if you mean the A Voice for Men article (a site you unilaterally declared war on on our behalf).

Unfortunately, I have no more time to spend on my site than you do on yours. I work full time trying to secure a future for myself. However, I clearly do manage to make more sacrifices than you do, because you post about once a month whereas I post once or twice a day.

Most of the feminist crap in the rest of the resolution is already being implemented in most Eu member states. ‘Making the ending of violence against women a priority in the penal justice system’. Excuse me, I thought that was already the case? Maybe not in places like Romania, or the new member states, still newcomers to feminism, and which the resolution is probably being addressed to.

I would maintain, the possibility that 99% of men would be criminalized as sex offenders and their access to porn curtailed is more than 3% of that resolution, which mostly just rubber stamps what is already taking place everywhere.

If you want to highlight all the other issues contained in the resolution, why don’t you take a hour or two’s break out of this week’s busy fapping schedule and write an article on YOUR site? And what is the point anyway when a site like AVfM, which has approximately 100x the amount of traffic this site recieves, and about 500 the amount yours recieves, has already covered the issues (very well) by our friend Lucien? I can’t do everything here.

What is worse: in the article you linked to, not one mention of the insane other laws. All other feminist laws are taken as a given with no resistance whatsoever.

And even the porn ban is still there.

He explained that a “split vote” was called on to delete the sentence — “which called for a ban on all forms of pornography in the media” — but in spite of this, the 1997 resolution remains referenced, and therefore the call to ban “all forms of pornography in the media” remains intact.

Falkvinge said that striking out this text “has no other effect than deliberately obscuring the purpose of the new report.”

But to make matters worse, when a handful of MEPs called on their citizens to e-mail their representatives in protest, the parliament’s own IT department began to block these e-mails en masse from arriving in politicians’ inboxes.

A very hollow victory. No victory at all!!

Elsewhere I see comments that a porn ban will not work, that it will go underground.

People don’t see the severity of the issues.

We can simply extend child porn legislation to ALL porn. 5 years mandatory prison for one instance of a nude photo on your computer.

30 years ago nobody would have imagined such laws and such punishment for adolescent nudity or children at the nude beach, nor for children playing doctor or adolescents engaging in legal sex.

People still have not understood the depth of feminist perversion of thought.

And, it is not just feminists. The entire population and press is getting brainwashed and joins in the fight for feminist goals

I was mainly referring to Larner’s comment: “we have won”

I have not declared war on AVoiceForMen. They have declared war on us.

I am quite shocked about their violent attitude against normal male sexuality. But the rest of their work is amazing. I have some other minor differences, but in general I agree with their work.

And, amazingly, AVfM are recruiting relevant collaborators by the dozen now, seems they really will grow now. Maybe AVfM write a few crappy irrelevant articles, but the majority is quite relevant.

Though, I predict that Lucian Vâlsan will go the way of Angry Harry and become persona non grata at AVM for his heretic views.

No, this is no victory at all. As Human-Stupidity says, it’s still a 97% disaster.

What worries me the most is not only that this report in its accepted form declares it an area of concern that pornography has become mainstream among “young” people (more proof that these old hags are vastly out of touch with reality), but that now the doors are open for the EU to waste taxpayer money on the pursuit of junk science funding that seeks to establish a link between adult and child porn on the one hand, and porn in general and violence against women and children on the other hand.

If you can’t outright ban porn, there is still the long-haul approach of gradually making it socially unacceptable and making consumers of adult porn more and more look like perverted sickos. And the bogus “supply and demand” argument of the lie campaign against prostitution will surely be extended to pornography.

And yes, all that is pretty much going to be what we will be seeing in years to come.

But all this was already taking place in every country of the EU that I know of. At least we’ve bought ourselves a bit more time. And at least we should have the gratitude to thank the Pirate Party, and above all Rick Falkvinge. If it wasn’t for his efforts in brining this to the world’s attention, porn would be illegal in Europe within the next year or two, and given that the supply and demand argument is already enshrined into EU law as regards illegal pornography, simply viewing porn would likely be made illegal itself.

It’s also served as a warning shot to the likes of Kartika Liotard. In 5 years time the men’s rights movement will likely be 10 or 100 times bigger than it is now, and hopefully a lot more aware of what feminists are doing to male sexuality. If feminist hags like her want to try this again, it might be worthwhile to do it a little more anonymously. We can also watch the likes of her a lot more closely and thus have more advance warning of this

Yes, but it’s not helping that the EU has now approved yet another document regurgitating this whole hodgepodge of garden-variety feminazi ideology.

And yes, the Pirate Party and all Internet activists do deserve our respect and gratitude for this.

But it should also be noted that those paragraphs of the declaration that were scrapped were not scrapped because they were seen as threatening or violating sexual freedom. They were eliminated because Internet activists pointed out the dangers to a free Internet.

What I mean is, while Internet freedom and a free Internet are by now recognized values per se that have made their way up to the EU level (even if they are still being torpedoed by sinister politicians and lobbyists), there is no “pro-sex” lobby at the EU. Almost every single proposal or directive addressing matters of human sexuality that has been passed by the EU in recent years has limited sexual freedoms of EU citizens, and nobody was able to stop any of it in its tracks.

Sexual freedom just has no lobby. Sexuality is increasingly being framed as inherently dangerous and dirty, and every new law to limit sexual freedom is being framed as a cure for the evils of human sexuality, and not called for what it actually is…

Internet activists may have won the day, but the battle is only just beginning. And if sexual freedom isn’t recognized as a value that needs to be protected and defended, feminists and moral conservatives are simply going to walk all over us.

    Antifeminist & HS:
I would disagree that it is a hollow victory. The femihags have been getting some bad setbacks in Europe lately, especially in Scandanavia. Like Fidelbogen has pointed out, many of these smaller EU countries have small, but growing, mens’ movements. A lot of European women support them too, though much differently than our Anglosphere Tradfem types.

I think this vote would have been a shoo-in if it had been proposed prior to the Eivind Berge and Julian Assange cases. But now the politicians fear a backlash, and this is a positive sign.

There’s some indication that many non-Americans are equating feminism with US cultural imperialism. That’s going to be their Achilles’ Heel in the long run—the more these proposals are seen as instigated by US interests, the less chance of success they will have.

I agree Eric. The best we can hope for at the moment is to make them aware that we are here, we’re growing all the time, and we’re not going away anytime soon. At the moment, we can’t do much in terms of activism except kick up a fuss online and shame a few individuals etc, but in 5 years, 10 years, we could be 100 times bigger, and 100 times angrier. Criminalizing male sexuality out of bitterness, jealousy, and a desire to raise your own dwindling sexual market value, may no longer be such a good long term career move.

I can’t EVER recall a EU sexual trade union resolution or bill even being challenged, let alone being forced to be altered. Even the entire bill was only carried 2:1. I think it’s a tremendous sign of progress.

Homosexuals, lesbians, and transgenders may disagree with that. As would, as a matter of fact, middle-aged women everywhere. I think what you mean is that there is no ‘pro male (hetero)sexuality’ lobby group. This is hardly surprising given that even the thought that male heterosexuality is under attack itself is likely an alien notion to 99.99999% of the men on the planet. This site is one of 3 or 4 blogs in existance that recognises and puts to the forefront the obvious fact that it is primarily middle-aged women who are controlling normal male (hetero)sexuality, and even on this blog we keep getting diverted away to the worn out meaningless vague discussion of ‘puritanism’ and other things.

I hope every reader here signed that petition, btw.

And more good news from that great land Downunder…
It’s very reassuring for all Australians that their community spirited Federal Police force is out there 24 hours / day 365 days a year, patrolling the Internet for filthy, vile perverts who prey on ‘children’ (below the age of consent) and or WORSE:re-victimize our children by downloading, sharing and making available: child-abuse images…

Thus far 21 vile paedophiles, fit for burning to death, have been arrested and more are expected to be arrested and subsequently sent to prison without proof, witness testimony, or a fair trial, later this week…

Note this classic feminist sympathizing comment from the same witch-hunting, paedocritical PIG I quoted here a few months ago: Cyber Crimes operations manager Glen McEwen:

The material seized can only be classed as abhorrent and personally disgusting.

Hmmmm… Who asked for and who even cares what HIS personal views on images of young women that the feminists have made him accept as images of child abuse (because they RE-victimize children by Voodoo magic) are?
    Then…

The protection of our children is paramount and cannot be conducted without the assistance of partners within law enforcement, government, non-government agencies, academia and the community.

He forgot to mention the sexual trade union in his list of those deserving of accolades.

Just because technology evolves as quickly as it does, so too do the tools made available to law enforcement to detect such activity.

This operation shows that the internet is not anonymous and if you are involved or choose to groom children online or be involved in the production, distribution or access of online child abuse, you will be pursued.

The detection of thought crime is becoming more and more sophisticated and the more paedocritical the thought police are, the more determined they are to go to any length to deflect attention away from themselves of any of their personal sexual preferences…

Commander McEwen says sharing images of child abuse online is as serious as abuse itself.
    He then said:

I would like to stress to any potential offender out there that just because you are dealing with an image of child sexual abuse, doesn’t make you any less complicit in the crime.

    In other words:
If you are a ‘male person’, over 18 12 years old, heterosexual and own a computer with an Internet connection, you ARE A PERVERT and we WILL catch you!
We’ll come to your home, anytime between 2:00 am and 7:00am and kick your door down and proceed to destroy your whole life for viewing ANYTHING that may look like a child depicted in any way that might resemble a sexual context, no matter how remotely.

At least now after reading this great news story of another successful paedo-hunt by my nation’s thought police: I can sleep at night, with the knowledge my children are safe, now they are protected from these vile sexual predators, Voodoo magic practicing witch-doctors, Satanic Ritual Abusers (including dead ones) and other child-molesting monsters…

Been doing some researching on the news of porn arrests going on, it’s truly terrifying how many people who did nothing much download images and videos can be arrested and charged for a sex crime.

So I did a bit of a re-imagining, let’s say that the feminists voodoo theory really applies, let’s say the world is treating violent crime like they do these virtual sex crime.

There will be news articles like these:

Duncan County Man Arrested and Charged for Possessing Murder Simulator

Michael Clayton White, 22, has been booked into the Dale City Police Department and is due in front of a judge Thursday morning on charges of possessing murder simulator. White’s house was searched by police after receiving tips from a neighbor stating that White has been acting suspiciously. After a search on White’s computer, police found images of virtual murder as well as a program that allows its user to simulate process of a crime. He was arrested after the discovery.

“It is sickening and horrifying.” said Detective Walsh. “That people who live so close to our children is attracted to things like these, I am glad that we took a potential criminal off the streets.”

White will be facing 5 to 20 years in prison followed by a lifelong registry on the violent offender registration. His bail is set at 200,000.

“We will not tolerate anything like this.” Adds Detective Walsh. “Programs like this one, Grand Theft Auto, is a murder simulator and the ones who operate it is very likely to commit a crime.”

Theodore Roosevelt High School Students Charged for Possession of a Violent Image

Police announced earlier that six students has been arrested for allegedly sending a video of a fellow classmate breaking his ankle during football practice to other students. The video appears to be filmed on a camera phone, it clearly shows that the victim broke his ankle while being tackled.

“They’re entertained by my son’s pain.” Said the mother of the victim. “Things like this can’t be tolerated, these kids need a lesson.”

Detective Kerr from the Ann City Police Department claims that in order for these videos to be made, someone needs to get hurt, and by passing this video around, the victim gets victimized and hurt every time someone sees it.

The students face charges of possession of a violent image, which carries a sentence up to 5 years in prison plus lifelong registration on the violent offender registry.

    @Larner,
    Naaahhh!
You have too vivid an imagination!
You don’t really need to imagine much at all, other than perhaps the same thought police breaking down your door at 4:00 am to cart you off to prison for many years (but at least unlike a ‘c-p’ possessing ‘paedophile’, it wouldn’t be with daily beatings and ass-rape as well), as a murderer, because they were told you had in your house, or somewhere (you were reported as possessing), a Charles Bronson ‘Death Wish’ DVD. Actually, not even that… Even say, an Agatha Christie novel or other ‘murder mystery’ novel.

Possessing such a murder mystery (because it illustrates and glorifies homicide) being proof of your (the owner’s) obsession with death and murder, therefore, by the same (child-porn / Voodoo) [ill] logic: you ARE a MURDERER…

That would be no less ridiculous than the current child-porn laws.
In fact it would make more sense than the current ‘evidence’ (coupled with the indisputable ‘Voodoo re-victimization’ absolute proof), the present thought police and media (both manipulated by the bitter, jealous femihags of the international sexual trade union), use as CONCRETE PROOF of one’s ‘paedophilia’ and the imminent threat they claim, such a ‘paedophile’ MUST pose to ALL ‘children’; and the urgent need therefore, to remove him permanently, from society.

It would also make more sense to me, because even if looking at images of fully clothed, but sexy 16 and 17 year old ‘children’, really is proof of an observer’s ‘paedophilia’, which their empirical ‘research’ and absolute baloney, our paedohysterical and dumbed-down society accepts unconditionally is true: such ‘paedophilia’ glorfies only the creation of life, not the morbid, cruel and hate-motivated destruction of life…

It would actually be funny if the people who blindly support these laws finding them on the wrong side when they’re arrested for having a VHS of the Blue Lagoon.

And Michelangelo’s David will be taken away and the ones in the museum or had visited the museum will be arrested because new research shows that the sculpture was suppose to be a 17 year old David. Oh man, horrifying crime indeed, poor David was abused and re-vicitimized over and over again over the years but don’t worry David, the feminists are here to do you good.

Let’s put it to a further analysis.

    Murder = Illegal
    Possession of Heroin = Illegal
Having Sex with a 16 year old (age of consent is 16) = Legal

Taking a photo of a murder = Legal
Taking a photo of heroin = Legal
Taking a photo of the sex with a 16 year old = Illegal and might result in decades in prison. (Eric Rinehart)

I know people are going to say that you’ll get arrested if you make a snuff film. Yes you will, but you won’t get arrested for making the film, you’ll get arrested for being a part of the murder. So yes, making snuff films is perfectly legal.

Like the War on Drugs created the drug lords, I suspect that this War on Sex is definitely going to create actual child abuse gangs that film these abuse and charge the customers with a price. Since these gangs will probably be located in a 3rd world country, law enforcement won’t be able to do anything really but arrest the possessors. (Just like the war on drugs)

The war on drugs proved that cutting the demand will only raise the price of the drugs. This supply and demand crap doesn’t work. But now they’re doing the same with CP, it’ll do nothing much make gangs that actually abuse kids and make big bucks out of it.

    @Larner,
Yes you’re almost there, but I just have to make one more minor correction, so you will fully understand the enormity and appreciate the total LUNACY of it all. Your last point states:

Taking a photo of the sex with a 16 year old = Illegal and might result in decades in prison. (Eric Rinehart)

    More like:
POSSESSING a single photo of a fully dressed 16 year old smiling provocatively or otherwise lasciviously posing = Illegal and might result in decades in prison. (Stephen A.Knox v USA)

He was originally sentenced to 15 years but three terms of (the MANDATORY MINIMUM) 5 years to be served concurrently see here
Also bear in mind that his case (saga) was heard during the early 1990s, the gynocracy and the law is a lot less forgiving now than they were back then.

Like the War on Drugs created the drug lords, I suspect that this War on Sex is definitely going to create actual child abuse gangs that film these abuse and charge the customers with a price. Well, according to the femihags and their massive Thought Police force, that’s what the child-porn side of their abuse industry is all about isn’t it?
Meaning that it is already happening now and according to them, it has been ‘organized’ like that for many years.
I.e. note the title of the article I linked to yesterday: Police charge 21 over online child abuse network
Almost all of the news articles about child-porn interceptions and arrests by any nation’s thought-crime police I read, or hear of these days, always imply that those caught were part of a child pornography, or child-abuse image sharing: ‘network’, ‘ring’ or indeed, ‘gang’.

You might also find these stories an interesting read:
200 years prison for child porn. (Note the comments from all the paedocrites under it). Just google his name, ‘Morton Berger’, there’s a lot more out there, most of it CONDONING his sentence too.
There’s an awful lot of HATRED in our world today…

You might also (not) like this story of a Daniel Enrique Guevara Vilca who was sent to prison FOR LIFE, with No parole for downloading images of ‘children’, note too how they justify his absurdly Draconian sentence with the ‘Voodoo magic re-victimization’ principle: The Prosecutor in the case, Steve Maresca said:

“Too many people just look at this as a victimless crime, and that’s not true,” he said. “These children are victimized, and when the images are shown over and over again, they’re victimized over and over again.”

Yeah right, well that same re-victimization principle therefore, should apply to any image of any crime, depicting a ‘victim’ of such crime then?
    Nope. Why?
Why does the principle and the absolutely ludicrous penalties associated with it, ONLY apply to ‘child porn’ and only to men found possessing such child porn?
This is why most of us on this blog consider this blatant demonization / criminalization of male sexuality to be THE most important men’s rights topic of all.

But just ask any mRA from the Men’s Human Rights Movement and he’ll rudely assert that this is NOT even a men’s rights issue, before accusing you of being a paedo or a pervert, for daring to question feminist hate law.

Daniel Enrique Guevara Vilca is just an example, an example of what will happen if you go to trial. Life in prison without parole for what? Pictures? I mean something you get if you like murder someone is now posed on someone who downloaded pictures!

Oh SNAP?! Pictures can get you life in prison? Remember those guys that wants to go back to prison and decided to rob a store?

Now there is an easier way, go get internet access, and type in the keywords, will get you there in no time.

The taboo and the law itself made it impossible to do ANY type of research on this subject, well… because looking at the subject puts you in prison. You can do research about a lot of serious crimes but in this case, the looking itself is a crime.

Yes you’re dead right – just entering certain words (which are in effect direct links to one’s thoughts in real time) into a google search could potentially result in at least several months of ‘alternate sexuality’, if one is a man.

BTW: I’m not sure if it’s already happening now, but do know for sure that the gynocracy have for a few years, been lobbying governments for internet search providers (i.e google, Yahoo!) to record the ip addresses of any user entering certain keywords into their search engines for the very purpose you have described. All motivated by their bitter sexual jealousy of course – such words all prove a man’s interest in YOUNGER, attractive females (their competition).

It reads like a chapter out of a George Orwell novel, but the really frightening aspect about it is that it’s not a story, but reality, and even more disturbing is how 99.999% of the Draconian law’s potential victims (MEN), accept and even condone it! (Because they are all brainwashed, scared little paedocritical, feminist-crawling manginas). It’s truly nauseating, even thinking about it..

NOBODY dares to even question the dominant narrative, which is another indicator of the totalitarian state our society is slowly but surely slipping into.

@Alan Yes, the feminist at the head of the EU commission (I think it’s vivien Reading, the woman Lucian is always talking about) wanted to introduce an ‘early warning system’ that would require that the likes of Google to automatically record suspicious key terms such as ‘teen porn’ and automatically flag them and report the individual to the femistasi thought police authorities.

I remember reading that it was proposed by the Canadian government to actually make the ‘searching’ for ‘chld porn’ a criminal offence in itself. I’m not sure if the law passed.
