Womens prisons in UK are like preschool for Adult women. They get every form of kuxury they desire. Contraband is dirty word. I’ve even read somewhere htey they routinely hold pizza parties and themed days where all the female husband murderers, child killers, etc get to dress up in costume and have a grande old box social with the staff.

I wonder if she will offer some teary speech about her “tireless work to protect children” as proof of her good character in her defense – even though her previous actions show she has no concerns for the protection of children? It will be interesting to see who she calls upon to give testimony on her behalf. There’s bound to be a few manginas in the mix.

Virgina Wolff was insane and feminism itself is a psychiatric disorder. There was a BBC series on the Suffragettes and Pankhurst years ago. In the US these BBC productions were shown on PBS and the host was Alastair Cook who would introduce the episode and then say a few words afterwards. He did mention the white feather campaign and an incident where one of these females was harassing a man on a train only to discover that the man had had his legs blown off in the war.

the success of the white feather campaign is unquestionable proof of the power and priviledge societies have traditionally afforded women

there is simply no way that any intelligent, free thinking person can honestly connect such ability with ‘low’ status

could black men have made white men go off to fight that way?

utterly out of the question!

this historical artifact is telling us something very profound about traditional gender relations that revisionist historians do NOT want people to realize

my guess is that if we dig around enough we’re very likely to discover that the white feather campaign is by no means the only thing ‘airbrushed’ out of the history books
